Petali d’Oro Dress: Inspired by the dress style I created for “Princess Odessa” (one of the main characters of the TV program titled: “Melevisione”).
It looks like an upside down flowers with silky petals.
The primary idea was born for the love for peonies, flowers whose name comes from Paeon
or Peone the Greek doctor of the Gods.
According to the legend, Paeon used this flower to heal Pluto’s wound and got back the gift of immortality as well as being transformed in a peony.
It is great privilege since peonies were the only flowers that deserved the Gods’ admiration according to the Greek and for this hosted in Olympus.
The beauty of a peony is expressed in this dress with its hundred petals of dimensions ranging from the smallest to the biggest with delicate colours.
Unique and one-time model.
Variants only possible.
The bustier is made of shantung golden silk. The flower shape with silk drawstring embroidery at cleavage and waist level in amber crystal colour highlights a unique handmade pattern.
The petals blooming at waist level of the dress open up and let loose the skirt with its shaded silk organza in bright golden, white and ivory colours
The prettiness of the fabric and its softness turn it into the queen of my works.
I adore using silk in my creations; it gently lets me transform its white in balanced colours. There is an information exchange between us, it proposes a particular shade and I follow it according to the present feeling. A theme, an intuition bond us together and lead to the result during the dying process.
The rear fastening with little buttonholes and crossed drawstring embroidered fabric gives the possibility to fit a smaller or bigger size.
The “underskirt” has a cotton base that awards it the “bell” shape with white tulle frills. The light train shows its royal elegance as a whole.
